Teleconference on Program-Wide PBS: The Pyramid Model
What is program-wide PBS (Positive Behavior Support) for early childhood? Is it different from the school-wide PBS effort that is being implemented across the nation? How is it related to the adoption of the Pyramid Model? This web and teleconference event included an on-line presentation and teleconference question and answer discussion about program-wide adoption of the Pyramid Model and its relationship to PBS. Visit the TACSEI website to watch the presentation, listen to the teleconference, and browse the many supporting materials.

Office of Head Start Announces New Center
The National Center for Effective Mental Health Consultation (CEMHC) was recently created through a three-year grant by the Office of Head Start. The CEMHC has two objectives:
- To translate research on effective mental health practices into useful materials for E/HS mental health consultants, staff, families and program administrators.
- To increase the use of evidence-based strategies to promote positive mental health and reduce mental health problems in young children and their families served in E/HS.
The CEMHC is a partnership between four universities involved in CSEFEL, led by Georgetown University. Look for more information about CEMHC in future updates.
